Kelsey attended Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon. After high school she went on to play softball at College of the Siskiyous in Weed, California where she played softball for two seasons with Coach Doug Eastman. While at College of the Siskiyous, she played center field and was a first-team all-league selection batting .363 her sophomore year.
Transferring to OIT her junior season in 2006, and playing for Coach Greg Stewart, she started in center field for a team that went 37-6 and won the Cascade Conference title. Kelsey, who was named a First-Team All CCC selection in 2006, finished the year with a .357 batting average, 13 doubles, 4 home runs, and 31 RBI. Her senior year she went on to finish the season with a .270 batting average and graduated with a Small Business management degree in 2008.
Kelsey has resided in Klamath Falls since 2005 and she and her husband Todd are happy to call Klamath Falls home. They have a very active five year old boy named Porter who enjoys coming to practice with mommy. As a family they enjoy anything outdoors- hunting, camping, and riding in their UTV. Kelsey is employed with InfraSource in Klamath Falls where she works full time managing the office for three bases.
